Engagements
Project Basis
Globfurni works on a project-based and contract-order engagement model designed for medium- to large-volume buyers. Most collaborations begin with a scoped sourcing brief that defines target product categories, materials, specifications, and required volumes. From there, we introduce suitable European manufacturers and structure either (1) single-project orders for specific rollouts, such as hotel openings or retail refits, or (2) multi-year contract orders for ongoing replenishment. For new clients, we typically start with a pilot order that meets the manufacturer’s minimums while validating product quality, logistics, and lead times before scaling up to full-volume contracts.

Contract Partner
Minimum order quantities and cost structures vary by category, manufacturer, and level of customization. As a guideline, seating and tables often start at pallet-based minimums (for example, a full container equivalent by mixed SKUs), while cabinetry, casegoods, and custom components are usually quoted per project with line-item minimums per model. Unit costs are influenced by material selection, finishes, hardware complexity, assembly requirements, and shipment mode (LCL vs. FCL, standard vs. expedited). Instead of public price lists, we provide detailed, project-specific quotations that break down manufacturing, finishing, packaging, and freight so procurement teams can model landed cost, compare scenarios, and align with budget targets without sacrificing quality or lead-time reliability.
